Ugh....
So this project is proving to be much more difficult than I thought it would be. I was hoping that there would be a way to create the visual organically and along with the music, however the problem is that After Effects can't really make it look organic. I was going to try to solve this problem by doing the video in a stop-motion manner, but this way won't allow the visual to be timed with the music. I think I'm going to have to compromise and just do the stop-motion and not try to time it with the music. I'm really disappointed in how this is going to turn out but I don't really have much of a choice. I have a lot of work ahead of me :(

Aw ... that's too bad. But I think the strength of the visuals you created will carry this sequence well.

Hey Whitney,
Do you think the masking will help you achieve some of the movement that you are looking for? i think this idea of growth can happen from the way the graphics you created are revealed over time. Good luck - keep us posted.
